Many thanks and a huge "well done" to all those athletes, parents, teachers and
helpers who were at the NIAC for a fantastic Cardiff QuadKids event last night.
With around 330 athletes all doing a sprint, a 600/800m, 3 Vortex throws and 3 Long
Jumps, we had a total of over 2600 runs/jumps/throws to measure, record & process.
This was the biggest QuadKids event we have so far run, the first done indoors and
the first with a concurrent primary & secondary competition. Inevitably with such
a busy event there is a risk of errors, so there has been a delay posting the results
to the website whilst we checked all the data.
Unfortunately a small nunber of 600m times were not inputted correctly and this
had a sinificant impact on the score of one school, St Nicholas Primary who moved
into 2nd position.
We apologise to St Nicholas primary, and their best girl athlete Leah who after
having her 600m points corrected moved into first position in the individual competition.
We will of course get medals to the St Nicholas team and Leah as soon as possible.
We also apologise to the schools and individuals who have moved down a place after
this correction.
